Scandinavian Stars

Create some Scandinavian style paper decorations

These stars are based on straw ornaments that were traditionally made in Nordic regions at harvest time to feed the birds and distract them from precious grain stores. Straw stars have now become a popular ornament during the festive season. Not everyone has straw to hand so we have created a method for making similar stars from paper.
In the film we show you how to make the straws and a variety of star designs using the straws and thread. This is a delightfully simple but effective way of decorating your home and gifts using material you would usually throw away.
