Paper Luminaries

In this recent online workshop we demonstrated how to make a softly lit wintery scene. This really easy crafting activity is suitable for all ages with lovely results. Luminaries can be easily customised for all seasons, and used indoors or out.

To make a luminary similar the ones below you will need:
  • A4 white paper
  • A Pencil
  • A Ruler
  • Black felt tipped pens or marker (permanent ink works best)
  • Scissors
  • Clean cooking oil
  • Paint or pastry brush
  • Baking tray to fit A4 size paper
  • Kitchen roll (or absorbent cloth)
  • Paper clips or pins
  • Battery tea light
